On 17 July 2013 at an extraordinary full SHBC Meeting, the planning application for the Princess Royal Barracks site was considered and approved. The vote was 22 votes for, 10 against and 1 abstention. The 3 Frimley Green Councillors, Dave Allen, Chris Pitt and Allen Whittart voted against the application as did 2 of the Mytchett/Deepcut Councillors, Paul Deach and Joanne Potter. The third Councillor Craig Fennell was unable to take part in the Meeting due to declared interests in the development. Our Chairman Kevin Daley was one of the 4 people to speak against the application at the Meeting.
