Waters Edge License Granted

The SHBC Licensing Committee granted a licence to the Waters Edge development at the hearing on the 25th February with the following restrictions - 8am to 11pm Sunday through to Thursday and 8am to 12pm Friday and Saturday.

Although local residents would have preferred the license not to be granted, this was seen as a common sense compromise. The applicant has 21 days in which to appeal this decision. There is also an automatic review in 12 months of the granted license at which the applicant can ask for extensions.

For more on the lead up to the Hearing plus a description of the application, the Society's letter of objection and where to go to find out information on Licensing, please see the following section.
