Surrey Heath Draft Local Transport Strategy

Surrey County Council is producing Local Transport Strategies and Forward Programmes for all districts and boroughs in Surrey. On September 16th the second group to go out to consultation was released, Surrey Heath being one of the three in this group. The Surrey Heath Draft Local Transport Strategy sets out:

  • A commentary on transport provision, problems and possible solutions across the Borough.
  • A forward programme of schemes we would like to see implemented in Surrey Heath to address identified problems.
The Local Transport Strategy has been developed to take account of and provide a plan for addressing transport problems. It provides an evidence base on which Surrey County Council can build funding bids to secure the best deal for Surrey Heath.

Surrey County Council is inviting comments on the Draft Local Transport Strategy. Please go to Surrey Draft Local Transport Strategy to view the draft Local Transport Strategy and to fill in an online form with your views.

Hard copies of the documents are available in the Surrey Heath Borough Council offices and County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston upon Thames.

The consultation closes on Tuesday 28th October 2014.
