The Coronation Fun Day took place on 7th May in Frimley Lodge Park. Organised by the outgoing Surrey Heath Mayor Helen Whitcroft along with help from the Carnival Committee's Mandy Withers. The event was a great success, with large crowds enjoying the event even though the weather was for the most part dull and overcast.

The large crowds enjoyed the many varied stalls, rides, food, drink and performances in the arenas. The MFG&D Society had a stall where we tried to publicise what we do in the local community. As part of our presentation, we had a "guess the weight" cake competition, with the cake being the prize. You can see the cake and the winner of the cake below.
