The Society has an active committee that meets every month to keep informed of the villages’ affairs and to action any support required
by our voice in the community. Our committee is an opportunity for residents to share and develop ideas to improve the ambience and
amenities of our villages, to stand up for urban and environmental values that are threatened by development, and to fight exploitation or
authoritarian decisions. More volunteers are always needed and wanted. We monitor all planning applications and local policies to help ward off the less considerate ideas that may impact our community. The Society can be your voice, so please tell us your concerns.
We send notice to the correct authority when things are not right, anything from potholes to dirty signs, to antisocial noise and overgrown
vegetation is highlighted in a non-confrontational way. We celebrate our successes and the joy of living where we do. Tell us about the local heroes you have encountered and let us sing
their praises. Vision Statement The Society is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-racial organisation whose interests are in you, the residents of Mytchett, Frimley Green and Deepcut.
With valuable local knowledge and the capability of working with local Councillors, its aims are to:

Preserve and enhance the amenities of the 3 villages.Support residents’ concerns to the local authorities.Campaign for urban and environmental values that are threatened by development, exploitation or authoritarian decisions.
